An exchange program took me from high school in China to Los Angeles and a host family in Austin. My sense of what a future could contain expanded.

2020

I watched SpaceX Demo-2.

For me, Mars stopped feeling like science fiction and started feeling like a problem my generation might actually have the chance to solve.

That left me with one question:

If we can get humans to Mars,
how will humans actually live there?
